Adams County Preservice Training Registration Instruction

In order to register for preservice training you will need to set up an account within the CAPS system.

This new system will enable you to register for upcoming preservice training courses. If you have difficulty getting registered please contact Jade Osman, Foster/Adoption Specialist at jade.osman@jfs.ohio.gov.

Following are some basic directions that may help you navigate this new system.


Directions for completing the CAPS Registration

First Page
“Division (Agency)” field: search for Clermont County and select the “Adams County Children Services”
“Primary Position” field: select “Prospective Foster/Adoptive Caregiver”.
“Primary Position (County)” field: search and select residential county.

Second Page
No required fields

Third Page
Create and re-submit a password of your choice.
Submit form.

Once you submit your form it goes to a statewide mailbox. Your request should be approved within 1 business day after submitting. You will not get an e-mail notice but once your account request is approved you can log in using your email address (username) and whatever password was created at submission to view and register for preservice training sessions.
